Oh, yes! From spring to autumn, you are almost always greeted in the morning on our terrace by a warming ray of sunshine and a refreshing mountain breeze blowing through the fir trees. Let your eyes wander over the Grindelwald valley up to the mountains of the Jungfrau region.

Freshly strengthened, you can then set off under the motto: the mountain is calling! A pleasant mountain breeze blows over the alpine pastures, now and then the glistening rays of the sun hide behind white spring clouds. Back in the Caprice garden, the Kneipp magic invites you to take an ice-cold foot bath.

The wellness offer in the Caprice oasis gets everyone going again.

The Caprice kitchen surprises on our theme evenings with Swiss specialties or freshly grilled food. A good drop of wine from Glarner's cellar rounds off the vacation in the nicest way possible. For the guests who prefer a daily half board, we cooperate with our good neighbors from the restaurant 'Edelweiss-Stuben'. The restaurant is located 50 meters next to our hotel.

Physiotherm's low-temperature infrared cabins operate within the thermoneutral zone (air temperature between 27 and 37°C). At an air temperature of approx. 30°C, the back is heated evenly and without contact with infrared radiation by a specially developed radiator (ceramic radiator filled with lava sand). The heat supply is thus exclusively localized, over 10 to 12% of the skin surface (ideally back), through an uninterrupted infrared radiation.

Our Panorama Restaurant offers you a rich breakfast buffet every morning. Fresh rolls and croissants, cold cuts and cheeses, fresh egg dishes, crispy muesli, fruit salad and much more ensure a perfect start to the day.

Whether an extensive "Caprice" breakfast as a starting point for a hike or ski tour or a quick, sweet breakfast before the "lazy" day in your vacation - in our Panorama Restaurant no breakfast wishes remain unfulfilled between 7:30 and 10:30 am. In addition, there are lovingly prepared coffee specialties and a wide selection of tea variations.

In the evening, we offer half-board guests the opportunity to enjoy a 5-course menu at a reduced price in the neighboring restaurant Edelweiss-Stube every day (except Tuesdays). (CHF 35.00 instead of CHF 42.00).

You will not find a show kitchen at our 1 to 2 theme evenings per week - instead we offer you highlights of the regional Swiss cuisine:

From the traditional Fondue Chinoise, over a cozy barbecue evening to the Swiss national dish: the cheese fondue, we invite our guests twice a week to changing culinary themes!
